How To Record An Acoustic Guitar? Gibson Humingbird on 4040's songs

Hi gang,

Here is a video of 4040 acoustic guitar recording session. I will give a few hints on how to record an acoustic guitar.
Choose the instrument. If you do not have a good acoustic guitar - rent or borrow one.
Prepare yourself (rehears) so you do not waste studio time.
Get a good night sleep before the recording day.
Change the strings and play until the guitar stops getting out of tune.

For this recording I used:
Gibson Hummingbird acoustic guitar
Elexir Strings

Recording Chain:
Mic's:
2 Neumann U87 stereo pair - left right set one foot away pointing at the bridge and at the 12th fret
1 Neumann M147 tube - pointing above the guitar whole
2 AKG C414 as Room Mic's set to omni
1 DI out of the guitar
