Work

4040’s creative path has its own fateful beginning -only eight years old, loving the songs of Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, 4040 began playing the guitar under the tutoring of Lubomir Dzhevlekov, a guitar player and a family friend.
During his teenage years 4040 played in his first band, "White Rose," with his first electric guitar "Cremona". The band rehearsedin the school basement, playing covers of „FSB ", „Shturtsite," Eric Clapton, "Rainbow" and others.
During a school concert, "White Rose" attracted the attention of theguitar virtuoso Nedialko Penevski, who choose them for the new official youth band of the neighborhood and later began to teach them on a professional level.
Due to his ambition to achieve virtuoso mastery of the guitar, 4040 played twelve hours a day looking for new techniques and sounds. He began attending lessons with Peter Glavanov and later with George Mirchevski, both exceptional guitarists and musicians.
At the age of sixteen, after a stay in the U.S., 4040 decided to apply to Berklee College of Music. This step required more endless hours with the guitar and the band, more lessons  and his own instrumental recordings. After theauditions held in Athens,4040 was admitted to Berklee with a scholarship of $ 6000. His final decision, however, was to stay in Bulgaria and start an advertising business. He didn’t knowit then, but years later he would, in fact, successfully meet the challenge that was Berklee College of Music.
After this period, 4040 recorded more songs in analog studios, which were mostly instrumentals. In addition, he played in bands "Uncle Ernie" and "The band-a".
In 2011, 4040 and Peter Glavanov (Akaga , Slang) createdthe guitar instrumental project “Guitar Pirates”.The track is a virtuoso rock duel between two seven-string rhythm guitars and lasts 5 minutes and 55 seconds. The track is distributed on CD in Bulgaria as well as online in more than 100 music websites.
Currently 4040 is recording songs for his new album. Demo versions of several of them are uploaded to this web site.
